Was in Florence this morning after a late night reception, and looking for some coffee/breakfast. This place is great! We ordered two of their breakfast sandwiches and they are huge and delicious! Big coffee menu and the staff is super friendly.

I'm not a really big fan of the typical "coffee house" scene as I find them full of snooty, borish and uptight patrons. However I must give props to this establishment because it made a positive dent in my feelings. Rivertown Coffee felt like I had been going there all my life. The young lady at the counter was super nice, friendly and demonstrated outstanding customer service skills. I ordered a Bagel with Cream Cheese and a small black coffee for under $6.00 (including tip). AMAZING! Some places gouge you that much for just a cup of coffee. The physical characteristic of the establishment where warm and inviting providing for a perfect venue to sit and chat, read email, etc... Thanks for the excellent service and products. I look forward to my next visit.
Nice old style coffee shop in downtown Florence, Alabama , very good coffee , the food is very good as well , I ordered gril cheese sandwich not on the menu and it was great.
Now usually i go to ' Big Bad Breakfast 'for breakfast but there was waiting this time so we decided to look up other breakfast places and decided to give this place a shot and I would definitely be coming back here . This Coffee / Breakfast place is cute . Their omelettes are amazing , i ordered the black beans and avocado omelette it was so good . Nice atmosphere and great coffee . Their muffins are nice too . You should definitely check this place out . One of the nicest breakfast places in Florence . The only thing i don't like about them is they don't have fresh squeezed orange juice I mean it would be nice for a breakfast place to have fresh squeezed orange juice rather than the bottled one . All in all great place to hang out in mornings , good friendly staff and good environment .
First rate coffee & sandwich shop. This is a popular hangout in Florence AL. Be prepared to enjoy not only good coffee and hand-prepared foods but also to connect with a diverse cross-section of locals -- from pastors & business folk to UNA students & creatives.

Breakfast and coffee dates here are always fantastic! The black bean breakfast burrito is so yummy and fresh! Addictive and filling. The caramel lover's drink is delicious. The chai isn't as strong as I'd like but the rest of their coffees have a lot of flavor and impact. My friend loves the hot chocolate and peanut butter banana sandwich. Only issue with the cafe is lack of areas to plug in a laptop/phone. Good amount of seating and lighting. Would be a great study spot otherwise.
Rivetown has such a chill atmosphere. It took me back to Aromas many moons ago. The lunch smelled absolutely amazing. I'll be back!
